West End Presbyterian Church

1. We are a small church with a core group of mothers and grandmothers who work together with the Pastor to develop the children's worship. We do Children's Worship twice a month.

2. Being a church that enjoys music, we introduced instruments to the children, allowing them to pick whatever instrument caught their attention.

3. The pastor led the first children's message on October 13. "Does Jesus have favorites?"

First Reformed Church, Wynantskill

1. Renewed overall enthusiasm about the Christian Education program.

2. The children are enthusiastic.

First Presbyterian Church of Babylon

 

1. We believe this grant helped us refocus how we view our children's and young people's ministry.

2. We decided to break out our book purchases to align across a broader age group of children.

3. We loved that our teens and volunteers felt more aligned with these book purchases, especially our Action Bibles.

Katonah Presbyterian Church

 

1. We have created an attractive shelf, dubbed "Grace Space", where we have a number of resources available for our children and youth.

2. We have purchased and set-up a play yard in a corner of our Sanctuary for our crawlers and toddlers and parents have thanked me for creating this space.

3. We have had 2 new families join us this fall (with a total of 6 kids) and they have kept returning!

First Presbyterian Church of Hudson

 

1. We have put the Bible story books in the narthex for children to read before and after the church service.

2. We have put games such as Bible Trivia and Rubix cubes in the side pews of the sanctuary to use during Game Night when families can get together informally.

3. The set of Adventure Bibles are to be used whenever children read the Scripture lessons during the church service.

4. The musical percussion set will be used by children to accompany the piano player, organist, and/or guitar player during holiday services.

First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston

 

1. We have maintained four toddlers and have recently seen an infant attending worship. 

2. We have acquired Nursery workers.

3. Along with our "Mission Meet-Up" program, we have reached a significant amount of young children that are willing to receive information about our church.
