Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian​

  1. Increased children's engagement in scripture readings through children's Bibles.

  2. Conversations about greeting and "equipping" children for worship when they enter the church.

  3. Adults discovering the value in engaging with their faith as "children at heart".

Greater Providence Baptist Church

 

  1. Worship bags have been a huge hit.

  2. Their confidence has grown with serving as Worship Leaders on the 4th Sunday.

  3. In September two of our children were able to share their testimony and to shed tears while in the pulpit.

New Hope Presbyterian Church

 

  1. Our worship center is welcoming to all!

  2. The service dogs (aka beanie babies) have been a huge hit with young and old alike.

  3. The children are filling their worship bags before worship and are staying in the sanctuary for the entire service.

Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church

  1. Sense of validity to our existing push to include children in worship more frequently.

  2. The general feeling of our congregation toward children in worship is shifting in a positive direction.

  3. Visitors are responding positively to our inclusion of children in worship.

Hope Moravian Church

  1. Children's Library: I have set up a simple book lending system.

  2. Shaker Eggs: Shaker eggs, is for children to make their own shaker eggs, one to make for home and one to make for church. There are already plans for the children to use shakers as part of the adult bell choir presentation at Christmas time.

  3. Purchasing WOW Stories materials.

St. Giles Presbyterian Church

 

  1. We have quadrupled the number of children in the nursery (and have two more babies on the way!).

  2. Our room refresh for our primary Sunday School class has been re-energizing on a number of levels.

  3. We have combined children/youth occasionally for relationship-building and content.

Bear Grass Presbyterian Church

 

  1. We have been able to source some gently used furniture from a former church preschool to supplement our supplies for prayground.

  2. We also have been able to find a lot of the items we want/need on sale which has allowed our budget to stretch a little.

First Presbyterian Church Raleigh

 

  1. Secured an instructor to teach children about public speaking.

  2. Many families are interested and there is a renewed push to have young people participating as lay leaders.

Home Moravian Church

​

  1. Our grant funded classroom technology for worship and Power Hour has helped the children see images of what they are learning.

  2. We have incorporated a music time each week

  3. Puppets are great props to use when story telling.
